Interpreted through the art of Ikebana, the Japanese art of floral arrangement, the Values Of Work are given a life of their own through the keen eye and gentle hands of Ikebana artiste, Carmen C. Guevara. An Ikebana devotee for the past 35 years, she is the founding president of the Manila Chapter of Ikebana International (established 1967) and she meets regularly with Ikebana enthusiasts worldwide.

Mrs. Guevara is a teacher of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana, a style that departs considerably from the classic Ikebana style through its use of both traditional and non-traditional materials. The compositions, as can be seen, are almost alive: rich in emotions, harmony, tension and balance.
