| Ecology Specialists Inc. (ESI) operates a grease plant and an oil blending
facility which is capable of producing multi purpose grease (MPG), extreme
pressure grease (EPG) and other quality lubricating oils. The facility
also manufactures ECOTEXÒ, an Asphalt based lubricant, being used
in the sugar milling industry. ESI is capable of tailor fitting special
types of lubricants, greases and fuels depending on the particular requirement
of the client.
Aside from manufacturing grease with our own label, ECOLUBEÒ,
we also do contract tolling for other independent grease and oil brands.
ESI is presently under contract with Caltex Phils. to produce Asphalt Based
lubricants for their Meropa SeriesÒ.
With the government’s present thrust towards environmental awareness,
ESI has initiated the adoption of the concept of industrial ecology wherein
one industry’s waste oil is reprocessed and becomes special fuel. An ESI
service includes the collection of various waste oil products from its
clients and processes the material according to DENR/EMB standards before
properly disposing of the contaminants.
One of ESI’s undertakings include the reprocessing of Napocor’s bunker
sludge from their power barge operations wherein ESI removes water and
sediments from the bunker sludge and turns it into bunker fuel oil.
We also operate an asphalt oxidizing plant which produces asphalt sealants
used by the construction, water proofing and paint industry.
Future plans include the operation of a mobile processing plant to be
installed “on-site “ wherever required so as to eliminate the risks involved
in transporting hazardous waste materials.
